- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I truly can’t think of a worse experience I’ve had in a health care setting. I understand the wait times can be out of one’s control. But communication, professionalism, empathy, PROACTIVITY, are all within one’s control and they were dolled out in minute increments today. Much to my dismay, I was there for hours!!! IN PAIN, that only got worse as time went by. Head injury occurred work, self report of 7/10 pain & they did nothing to/for me FOR HOURS!!! When I raised my concerns to clinic manager Anna Tabares I was told “only open wounds are taken straight back & no one even looks at the chart before the doctor does prior to seeing the patient.” That was her response as to why I wasn’t triaged/assessed upon my arrival with a head injury... She then went on to state that I could “tell my employer if I have a problem their company.” (which I’ll be sure to do) I asked for and was given the number to Corporate. I was routed to Regional VP Hanna Nguyen where I left a voice mail. I eagerly await her response. I have to return tomorrow & I sure do hope the service I received today is the exception & not the norm. The 2 men I dealt with in the back (one did my vitals the other my X-rays), Maria C. & the doctor were excellent. They were caring, apologetic, professionals, who didn’t get attitudes when asked questions. These stars are for them! ***Update:*** since my last post I’ve been back 3 times for follow up. I am pleased to say that service all the times has been excellent. Front desk, back office staff, and providers have been great. It appears that my experience on day one is not the norm but rather an exception. The stars on my review have been updated to reflect my experience as a whole.February 10, 2017by Miesha Di
